A homeowner's garage was damaged as a result of a storm and poor roofing above the garage. While rainfall is not very common in this area when it rains it pours. The amount of rainfall and faulty roof allowed for water to trickle into the garage and was not dealt with for several days. The source of the leak was near a garage bench which suffered the most damage. The water was able to saturate deep into the drywall and develop a small amount of bacterial growth. This necessitated the removal of the damaged drywall for the full extraction of the moisture to prevent any further damage or growth of bacteria.
