As of recent, there have been a great deal of wildfires throughout the state of California. The exact cause is under question but no doubt recent heatwaves, global warming, and poor care for national forests is likely to blame. A large developing fire has been the Bobcat Fire in Southern California. Nearly 13 of the 18 national forests in California have been closed down.
The fire began on September 6, 2020. It has approximately engulfed 115,000 acres. It is currently unknown what he exact cause of the inferno was. There is some good news, however. The fire is about 75% contained as of writing this article. Despite this, there are still many fires raging across the state. God bless the first responders and firefighters who are bravely responding to the call to action. The greatest concern here is not inherently the damage to structures or communities but rather the harm posed to people involved. Here are some helpful tools to keep informed.
